Today I played "fashion journalist" and paid a visit to my friend Dana's showroom in Brooklyn for her and Vince's up&coming jewelry line - BOND Hardware. BOND Hardware is a newly launched accessory line and in their words, "inspired by fashion, fetish and found objects, the collection is a reinterpretation of the necktie- a modern approach that suits you". Each piece is composed of re-purposed hardware materials, finished in NYC with jewelry techniques - for comfort and wear-ability. It's edgy-ness meets minimalism, and it's something we've never seen before. I was lucky enough to leave with my own door-knob piece that sits high up on my neck just like a bow-tie would. Consider these up and coming jewelry designer's exposed.
